OK, What is a Woe?   A woe is something that causes sadness, trouble, and pain.   How do we fight against woe?   Put on the full armor of God... You're gonna love the way you look.   The Bible tells us: "Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil." [Ephesians 6:10-11]   The Devil tries to trick us into making bad choices. Wrong choices often bring woe. How can we prepare to fight against the Devil and his tricks?   "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." [Ephesians 6: 12-17]   Putting on the full Armor of God takes work and practice and good choices. It's not always quick or easy, so lets get started!

SALVATION - The Helmet of Salvation. How do we get Salvation?

SPIRIT - The Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Where do we find the Word of God?

FAITH - The Shield of Faith, which blocks those woes of the Devil. How do we build faith?

TRUTH - The Belt of Truth. How can God's Truth uncover the Devil's lies?

RIGHTEOUSNESS - The Breastplate of Righteousness. Can we learn to make Righteous choices?

PEACE - The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace. How can the Bible help us to leave Peace in our footsteps and take God's Love to the world?

SNEAKY SNAKE - Think of the Devil, or Satan, as Sneaky Snake. He will pretend he is your friend, but he will tempt, and lie, and cheat, and steal, and cause you woe. You will need your full Armor of God to fight against his tricks.

GABRIEL - The Archangel Gabriel will be your tour guide through the Bible. He will point out those tricks of Sneaky Snake. He will be your friend, and you can call him Gabe.
